The Jagdterrier is a hardy dog bred originally for hunting; as such, it has a strong prey drive and needs frequent and consistent exercise. They are very well behaved and dutiful, but above all else they are dogs for the outdoors, who thrive on the mental and physical challenges of the hunt.
