Affenpinschers have a whole lot of personality in those tiny bodies. They are buoyant, confident, curious, stubborn, fun-loving and affectionate. The Affenpinschers are loyal as the day is long, and love being around their families. Their stubbornness can make them hard to train, and you will need to be firm and consistent with your Affenpinscher to get the desired results. As is stereotypical of some small dogs, what Affenpinschers lack in size, they make up for in fearlessness. The Affenpinscher will not hesitate to defend what it considers to be its' territory. But above all else, the Affenpinscher is good-natured and fun loving, a great choice for a companion.
