Anatolian Shepherd


Overview

The Anatolian Shepherd was bred for directing a flock, and therefore are independent and used to directing themselves in leiu of humans. They are brave and powerful, and according to Turkish shepherd legend can withstand an attack from a pack of wolves. While they are not a natural fit for everyone, an owner who can manage their independence and provide ample room for exercise can have a wonderful relationship with the brave Anatolian Shepherd Dog.
