[rev_slider beagle] The mild-mannered beagle is a true friend; their sociable natures and affectionate dispositions lead them to get along with almost anyone. They have the talent of complete focus, which they developed by  being bred for the hunt; this single-mindedness can make them tough to train, as they tend to slack off and lose focus when a task does not interest them. That doesn't mean they aren't intelligent, though; beagles comprehend things quickly, they just may not listen. Beagles tend to bark when they are confronted with strangers, human and animal alike, but their vocalizations are not prone to give way to aggression. Though they enjoy exercise, they can live a somewhat sedentary lifestyle. Their flexibility, gentleness and positivity make them great companions.
