Overview

The Belgian Laekenois is the rarest of the four Belgian Sheepdog breeds. It is a brilliant and obedient dog. They have a lifespan of about 12-14 years. The average Belgian Laekenois weighs about 26 kgs. It is a very territorial dog with strong protective instincts. If not well socialized they tend to grow to be shy and sensitive.
