Belgian Malinois

Overview

Also known as the Belgian Shepherd Dog, Malinois are hardworking and alert, while still behaving affectionately toward family and other animals. Their history as sheepdogs grants them high energy levels, even after the puppy stage; they need regular, sufficient exercise in order to keep them from being destructive. Their drive to achieve goals, independence and can-do attitudes make them plenty of fun for the right family.
