Bernese Mountain Dog

Overview

The Bernese is as pleasing to look at as it is to be around; its amiable nature, kindness towards children and strangers makes it a wonderful companion. Bernese Mountain dogs enjoy exercise, but don't need tons of it, and behave well in the household, taking direction well. They are surprisingly athletic, but don't need too much exercise, and most often enjoy spending time with the family they love, no matter what the activity.
