Boerboel

Overview

Intelligent and territorial are the two qualities most often associated with the Boerboel, although loyal and loving should be included as well. Boerboels are large, muscular, brave and smart; they are warriors for their families. Those qualities make them the guard dog of choice for many farmers and urban communities. Although they require consistent training from an early age, a well-trained Boerboel is outstanding with children and a great addition to a home.
