Bouvier des Ardennes

Bouvier des Ardennes are hardy and powerful, but playful and companionable as well. They originated in Belgium, and were used for work on farms; but they are relatively calm for dogs with as much energy as they have. They fit in well as working dogs or as family pets, and their goofy, positive attitudes will make them excellent companions.
